♟ Chess.com ECF Members Club tournaments on Friday (10|0 Diamond Blitz at 8-00), Sunday (10|5 Rapid Swiss at 8.00), Tuesday Afternoon (Improvers U1600 Rapid or Blitz at 5-30), Wednesday (Rapid Swiss at 8.00 pm), and Thursday Afternoon (5|5 Blitz at 5-00)
🦓 lichess.org English Players Club events on Saturday (10|2 Rapid at 8-00), Monday (5|2 Blitz at 5-00 pm), and Wednesday (3|2 Blitz at 8-00 pm)
⏲ Our lichess English Chess Players Classical tournaments are now running fortnightly with the next one on Sunday 6th November with 4 rounds at 50|10. Round 1 will be at 10-30 am and rounds 2 to 4 at 2-00 pm, 5-00 pm and 8-00 pm. We won all three legs of our LCEL match against Belgium on 23rd Oct and then tied the match against Nicaragua on 30th October - https://www.chess.com/clubs/matches/live/english-chess-federation Our next match will be the postponed fixture against Puerto Rico in the LWCL.

The English Chess Players team takes part in friendly internationals and regular lichess leagues.
Liga Ibera/ Torres de Loule - We came 6th in Sunday’s Liga Ibera team battle with promotion to div 1. The next Liga Ibera team battle is scheduled for 3-30 pm on Sunday 6th November at the link here: https://lichess.org/tournament/k0fAmjZl
Bundesliga - We also came 6th in our Liga 4B match on Sunday 30th October. Our next match will be in Liga 4A at 7-00 pm on Thursday 3rd November at the link here: https://lichess.org/tournament/NU8Wo5z0
Champions League - We came 14th out of 36 teams in the Champions League on 25th September. The next round will be at 5:30 pm on Tuesday 1st November with the link to be provided on the events home page.
Wednesday Bullet Team Battle – The next Bullet Team Battle will be at 7 pm on Wednesday 2nd November at the link here: https://lichess.org/tournament/P9myeKBB This will be a 90 minute bullet team battle with 154 teams and 12 leaders at 1|0.
Lichess Mega A Team Battle – Our next Mega A battle starts at 5-00 pm on Friday 4th November at the link here: https://lichess.org/tournament/qxTG2W1L - This will be a 2 hour Arena with 194 teams and 20 leaders at 3|0.
Online Competitions and Events
ECF Online Grand Prix – Both Grand Prix series are complete for 2022 and we expect to announce the winners early next week (wc 24th October).
We will publish details of the 2023 Grand Prix shortly.

She Plays to Win
She Plays To Win is a UK Girls Chess Project supported by the ECF and led by England Women’s Coach IM Lorin D’Costa, to try and encourage more girls to participate and learn chess in a fun environment. This involves free 30 minutes training in the weekly group, and a tournament on the Lichess server afterwards. Upcoming events include:
